Servo Motor Powered Platform
Each step in the forming process is controlled by an individual Bosch servo motor, simplifying the mechanical complexity of station design and providing more feedback on machine operation.
28 servo motors power the forming process—from infeed all the way to the discharge process—enabling tooling changes in less than 8 hours for greater flexibility to match changing demands for products.
Blank Feed/Conveyor
Rotary blank feeder picks sidewall blanks from the inline hopper.
Full conveyor can operate for 40 minutes before needing a refill, allowing for ease of machine operation on the production floor.
Heat and Tape Applicator
Tape is cut from a roll and applied to the sidewall edge, and then pressure and heat is added to firmly adhere the tape to the sidewall.
Application of tape increases resistance to oxidation, transmission of moisture, and the absorption of oils—making it ideal for dairy, baking, and deli food products as well as household items such as laundry and chemical products.
Cup Machine Transfer Turret
Vision system captures image of blank to ensure that tape has been properly secured, notifying the system diverter.
Our patented flameless hot air system directs heated air at the blank’s side-seam surface in preparation for the forming station.
Bottom Making Turret
Lubrication is applied to the top of the blank to prepare for the rim forming process.
Three stations form the flat rim on the blank to allow for membrane application and lid placement, providing a strong seal that keeps products fresh for long periods.
Rimming Turret
Lubrication is applied to the top of the blank to prepare for rim forming process.

Cup Discharge
Diverter sends cups that did not receive proper seal to secondary location, ensuring that only the highest quality cups are sent to stacking area.
Optional counter stacking allows for more efficient transfer of products to storage and inventory.
